CPL 2.0 Twitter

Twitter is not something I am really interested in but it can definately be useful if you are following certain websites that you can see what is going on with them in one place so that you don't have to go to all of them and can see what is new in one convient location and what other people are saying about developments that are going on with the things you are interested in.

CPL 2.0 Library Thing

I think this site is pretty cool and I definately see myself using it in the future. It could be pretty useful/handy in finding books that I might/could be interesed in. It could definately be pretty practical for use at home if I want to see what I have read and what else is out there for me to read. It will also be an easier way of keeping track of my list of books that I would like to read instead of having pieces of paper with names of books all over the place!

CPL 2.0 Online Productivity Tools

I think that now everything is being put onto the Interet that eventually these tools will probably replace the software that we now have to buy although in future you will probably have to buy the tools anyway as companies want to make money.

CPL 2.0 Flickr and Youtube

Fickr seems like a very interesting sight for sharing photos and being able to change them which is cool. You can change the photo anyway you want which is a pretty neat idea. It seems pretty user-friendly, and youtube is as well. Youtube is a very useful tool for wasting your time with interesting videos and for finding out information.

CPL 2.0 RSS

The RSS feed is pretty neat and I was able to set up a feed pretty easily. It is definatly very convenient to have everything in one place so that you don't have to search for it. This is something I would definately use as it has everything in one place.

CPL 2.0 Google

Google Books is really interesting and neat to be able to read a book online but it may not be the whole book so you are not really getting the whole thing. It can be useful for research purposes, especially Google Scholar. I would recommend it to friends and colleagues, although Google Scholar does seem to be limited a bit in its scope and the ability to really acess articles.

CPL 2.0 Week 4 Facebook

Facebook is a useful timewaster since I go on it to see what my friends are up too and also to waste time. It also allows me to communicate with my friends in a fast immediate way
